Features that set it apart:

  • Adjustable internal spring system for varying degrees of pullers. Greatly reduces shock from dogs that lunge or pull for a stable ride
  • Internal cord length can easily be adjusted and cord can be switched out over time
  • Attaches under the seat of the bike (right or left side) and installs in under 5 minutes with only 2 bolts and included hex wrench. No additional tools required
  • Your dog rides next to you so you can always monitor how they are doing and know when they need to stop and potty or when they are getting tired
  • Italian Design
  • Design keeps dog from running in front of the bike and encourages them to stay a safe distance to right or left of the bike
  • Quick lock and release mechanism for easy attachment and removal or for switching between bikes
  • Can be detached in seconds and used as a walking leash
  • Can attach to either the right or left side of the bike

1-Running-Dog Bike Tow Leash® (Hand-made in USA)

Features that set it apart:

  • 5 Star Approved by the American Pet Association
  • Hand assembled in the USA and signed by creator
  • Excellent pull resistance and stability for even the largest of dogs
  • Quick attachment to the rear wheel of bicycle with no tools required. *Designed to attach on the left side of the bike, however right-side installations may be possible on some bikes with the proper configuration. See installation videos on the product page for details
  • Flexible yet resilient colorful rust proof materials are like no other bike leash on the market – people will take notice
  • Designed by former aircraft parts engineer
  • Your dog rides next to you so you can always monitor how they are doing and know when they need to stop and potty or when they are getting tired
  • Unique flexible mast design communicates turns with your dog and encourages them to stay away from pedals and chain. Also prevents dog from running in front of the bike
  • Adjustable to dogs of any size (although any bike leash should only be used if your dog be over 30 pounds)
  • Flexible mast allows dog to fall back when trails narrow or pull ahead in open areas
Best uses:
  • Best used with dogs 30 pounds and higher that are light to extreme pullers
  • Best used on the left side of the bike, although right side installations are possible in many instances after some configuration. After watching the installation videos on the product page, if you are still unsure whether a right-side install is possible, please contact us
  • Best used with a comfortable padded harness when used with smaller dogs (a harness is always recommended with smaller dogs - I like the Ruff Wear Web Master harness we carry best personally). Harness is optional for medium to large dogs. Because your dog has more freedom of motion with the Bike Tow Leash and it pulls more from the side, less stress is put directly on your dog's throat area. In my experience, a strong flat collar (at least 1 inch wide) works fine. If you notice your dog is pulling too hard and is discomforted, it may be worth trying a harness. The ComfortFlex or Ruffwear Web Master harness tends to work best with the Bike Tow Leash. If attaching to a collar make sure it is strong and preferably wide (NO prong collars or choke chains!).
