Best uses:

• Best used with dogs 20 pounds and higher that are light to extreme pullers
• Best used on the left side of the bike due to configuration limitations on the right side of many bike models.
• Best used with a comfortable padded harness when used with smaller dogs (a harness is always recommended with smaller dogs - I like the Ruff Wear harness we carry best personally). Harness is optional for medium to large dogs. Because your dog has more freedom of motion with the Bike Tow Leash, less stress is put directly on your dog's neck area. In my experience, a strong normal collar works fine. If you notice your dog is pulling too hard and is discomforted, it may be worth trying a harness. If using a collar make sure it is strong (NO prong collars or choke chains!).
