What About Powerful Dogs?
The leashes we sell were both designed specifically to absorb the tugs and pulls of your dog - even powerful ones. The WalkyDog has an internal spring system and the Bike Tow Leash has a flexible mast design. My dog Parker is 75 lbs and extremely strong (he bikes everyday). I use both the WalkyDog and Bike Tow Leash with him and both perform wonderfully. I honestly can't say I have a favorite. For dogs over 100 lbs I may lean toward using the Bike Tow Leash because it mounts at a lower area of the bike and might make for a smoother ride. In my years biking my dog with a dog bike leash, I have never had an incident nor have I heard from anyone using these products that they lost control.
